The victim Madhu Smitha and her husband Pradeep Bhola, natives of Odisha, were having frequent fights over trivial issues for quite some days.

Hyderabad: In a gory incident, a woman was killed allegedly by her husband who stuffed her body in a bag and stacked it on the loft of her house at New Bharatnagar in Uppal.
The victim was identified as Madhu Smitha (30), wife of Pradeep Bhola (35), both natives of Odisha. Smitha is suspected to have been murdered days ago and the incident came to light on Friday after the local residents sensed foul smell emanating from the couple’s house.
Police said the couple were having frequent fights for last several days. It is suspected that after one such argument, she was killed with a blunt object.
The police on checking the place found the Smitha’s body stuffed in a bag which was kept on a loft in the house. “She was murdered and her body packed tightly into the bag and concealed probably to be disposed of later. She had external injuries on her head,” police said.
The body was shifted to the hospital for autopsy. Preliminary findings suggest that her husband could have killed her on Tuesday and fled from the house after the murder.
Police suspect she could have been murdered more than two days before the body was traced. All nearby police stations have been alerted and lookout notices have been issued to trace Pradeep at the earliest.
