Hyderabad Traffic Police announced that traffic diversions near Malakpet’s Akbar Plaza will continue till 8 am Monday due to ongoing drainage work. Vehicles from MGBS, Chaderghat, and Koti are being rerouted, and commuters are advised to take alternate routes.

Hyderabad: Traffic diversions imposed in view of the ongoing drainage pipeline works near Akbar Plaza building at Malakpet would continue up to 8 am on Monday, said the Hyderabad Traffic Police.
In a press release, the Traffic Police said the traffic coming from MGBS and Chaderghat Bridge would not be allowed to proceed towards Chaderghat X Roads and Malakpet. Similarly, the traffic coming from Koti, and Rangamahal through Chaderghat would not be allowed towards Chaderghat Rotary, Chaderghat Chota Bridge and Malakpet.
TRAFFIC DIVERSION ROUTES:
RTC buses coming from MGBS exit gate and proceeding towards Vijayawada, Suryapet, Nalgonda, Khammam traffic will be diverted at Chaderghat rotary towards Chaderghat X Roads – Nimboliadda – Amberpet new flyover- Ramanthapur – Uppal – LB Nagar, towards Vijayawada highway and also the buses going to Kalwakurty, Dewarakonda, Srisailam, will be diverted through the same route only.
The city RTC buses proceeding towards Dilsukhnagar, LB Nagar, Saibabad, Ibrahimpatnam will be diverted at Chaderghat X roads, Nimboliadda, 6 No Junction, New Golnaka bridge, Moosarambagh RTA, Moosarambagh X roads, Left turn towards Dilsukhnagar and right turn towards Nalgonda X roads, Chanchalguda, Saidabad, IS Sadan.
During traffic diversions, there might be traffic congestions at MJ Market, Koti, Rang Mahal ‘X’ Roads, Chaderghat, SJ Rotary, Nimboliadda, Golnaka etc. Hence, the commuters may choose alternate routes to reach their destinations, the Traffic Police added
