Mancherial: A 48-year-old farm labourer was electrocuted when he accidentally touched live wire while repairing an electric motor at an agriculture field at Nagapur village in Chennur mandal on Thursday.
Locals said that Kanala Lingaiah died on the spot when he came into contact with the live wire meant for supplying power to the electric motor. He was engaged by Badikela Lachaiah to help an electrician who was repairing the motor at the time of the mishap.
Based on a complaint received from a family member of Lingaiah, a case was registered. Investigations were taken up.
