Hyderabad: After an emphatic win over Assam on the opening day, Telangana girls continued their good form by beating Uttarakhand 49-34 in the 49th Sub-Junior National Basketball Championship for Boys and Girls in Hyderabad on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the State boys’ team suffered two defeats – losing to Chattisgarh 63-58 and Himachal Pradesh 52-48 – meaning they are virtually out of the race for qualifying for Level-I.
