Hyderabad: Excise Department Director orders inquiry into graft allegations

Hyderabad: The Director of Prohibition and Excise Department, V B Kamalasan Reddy had ordered an inquiry into the allegation of corruption against the few officials working at P&E Station Serilingampally.

The inquiry was ordered after the P&E department, Cyberabad and TGANB caught Seetabai, of Nanakramguda for allegedly smuggling ganja. There were allegations against a few personnel of P&E Station Serilingampally, that they were collecting money and allowing her to continue her activities.

A total of 25 cases are registered against Seetabai, who is considered ‘Ganja Don’ of Nanakramguda. She was continuing the trade unhindered by the cases registered against her by law enforcement departments.
