Hyderabad: The Task Force (Central) team along with Keesara police nabbed a 39-year-old construction worker from Charminar, Bharath Kumar Sharma, who is involved in nearly 50 house burglary and automobile theft cases, on Monday. The police officials recovered stolen material worth Rs 1 lakh from his possession.
According to the police officials, Bharath, who is an alcoholic and a drug addict, started committing burglaries and thefts in 2007. He does a recce of secluded residential colonies at nights, burgles there and steals automobiles parked outside, said police.
He is involved in nearly 50 cases in Hyderabad, Cyberabad and Rachakonda. He was jailed and also detained under the PD Act.
Bharath and the seized material were handed over to the Keesara police for further action.
