Hyderabad: The Telangana Fire Department, following the fire incident in a fire cracker shop at Boggulkunta on Sunday night, registered a case against the owner of the establishment ‘Paras Corporation’ for endangering the life and property of people.
The fire department officials stated that a temporary fire cracker license was issued to ‘Paras Corporation’, Bogulkunta to conduct the business in an open place. But the owners were illegally selling fire crackers from a building.
“The department will launch prosecution against the Paras Corporation for violation of the provision of the Telangana Fire Service Act 1999. Also the license is cancelled,” said a senior official of the department.
Following the fire incident on Sunday night, five fire tenders were rushed to the spot and the fire brought under control. There were no injuries to the public. However, panic spread in the area following the incident, officials added.
