Hyderabad: With the State police naming BRS working president KT Rama Rao in the remand report of ex-MLA Patnam Narender Reddy in connection with the Lagacherla incident and speculation rife over Rama Rao’s arrest, large crowds have been gathering outside the party headquarters at Telangana Bhavan here.
In fact, there was a massive crowd that gathered late last night outside Rama Rao’s Nandi Nagar residence, declaring that they would not allow the police on the premises.
Party leaders and workers, including women, stood outside the working president’s residence whole night, raising slogans in support of him and the party.
By Thursday morning, with Rama Rao reaching the Telangana Bhavan for a meeting with party leaders, the crowd shifted there. A large contingent of police too is present in the area.
