Hyderabad: A senior citizen was stabbed to death by his grandson allegedly over a property dispute in Punjagutta, police said on Friday.
As per available information, Chandrashekhar Janardhan (86), a businessman and the suspect Keerthi Teja (29), had argued over an ancestral property share among the family members in their house when the incident occurred.
During the heated argument, Keerthi Teja, grabbed a knife and stabbed his grandfather multiple times on the body. The senior citizen suffered grievous bleeding injuries and died.
The Punjagutta police are investigating. Keerthi Teja, was taken into custody.
