The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) conceded defeat in Telangana after counting trends showed Congress inching closer to a victory in the assembly election 2023.
In a post on X, KT Rama Rao said, “Grateful to the people of Telangana for giving BRS two consecutive terms of government.”
“Congratulations to Congress party on winning the mandate,” he wrote.
‘Not saddened but disappointed’
The Telangana minister said, “Not saddened over the result today, but surely disappointed as it was not in expected lines for us.”
“But we will take this in our stride as a learning and will bounce back,” he added.
Grateful to the people of Telangana for giving @BRSparty two consecutive terms of Government 🙏
Not saddened over the result today, but surely disappointed as it was not in expected lines for us. But we will take this in our stride as a learning and will bounce back…
