Mancherial: Allegedly depressed over his poor eye sight, an engineering student died by suicide in Thangallapalli village on Wednesday. Thandur Sub-Inspector Kiran Kumar said that Ravi Teja was a third year student of B Tech in a Hyderabad college, hanged himself as he was disheartened over the prospect of his eye sight not improving even after undergoing a surgery recently.
Teja underwent surgery for eyes a few days ago. He, however, was anxious, assuming whether his vision might not improve. Before hanging himself, he reportedly contacted his partents on a mobile phone. Anil, uncle of the engineering student lodged a complaint with the police.
