Hyderabad: National Award-winning actor Dhanush has announced his next film, tentatively titled D56. The movie will be directed by Mari Selvaraj, with whom he earlier collaborated on the successful rural drama Karnan.
The makers released a theme poster hinting that D56 will be a historical action saga. The film will be produced on a large scale by Vels Film International. Further details about the cast and crew are expected soon.

Meanwhile, Dhanush is busy with multiple projects. His next release is Kubera, directed by Sekhar Kammula, set to hit screens in June 2025. He also has two more films lined up for this year — Idly Kadai and Tere Ishk Mein.
