CtrlS Datacenters has announced the virtual groundbreaking of its greenfield data center in Bhopal by Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Mohan Yadav.
The centre aims to boost the region’s digital ecosystem by supporting high‑performance cloud computing, AI, and data processing applications.
The facility received an investment of ₹500 crore and is projected to generate around 200 jobs over its phased development.
Founded in 2007, CtrlS Datacentres operates 15 data centers across eight key markets providing key services like colocation, hyperscale, and managed services, with a focus on reliability, sustainability, and innovation.

The AI ready data center will feature infrastructure, including advanced cooling and security systems. At full capacity, the datacenter is projected to generate a combined annual State Goods and Services Tax (SGST) and Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST) of ₹15 crore.
The facility will be built on a 5-acre land parcel allotted by the Madhya Pradesh government in Badwai IT Park.
