In its early morning forecast on Sunday, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) Hyderabad predicted that fog and misty conditions in several locations across Telangana will persist for another five days.

Cold wave in Telangana to last 3 more days with temperatures dropping 2 to 4 degrees Celsius below normal


Hyderabad: The ongoing cold wave conditions in Telangana are expected to continue for three-more days with minimum temperatures in some places to be below normal by 2 degree Celsius and 4 degree Celsius.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD)-Hyderabad in its early morning forecast on Sunday has indicated that early morning fog and misty conditions at multiple locations in Telangana are also expected to continue for 5 more days.


Meanwhile, cold wave conditions continued to remain active in Hyderabad and in districts for the fourth-straight day. The lowest average minimum temperature recorded between Saturday night and Sunday morning was 5.9 degree Celsius at Bheempoor, Adilabad followed by 6 degree C at Sirpur, KomaramBheem Asifabad. In Hyderabad, the average minimum temperatures hovered between 10 degree Celsius and 11.5 degree Celsius at multiple locations.
