Hyderabad: Canon has launched the EOS R50 V, the pioneer model in its latest EOS V-series, along with the RF-S 14-30mm F4-6.3 IS STM PZ lens. EO-R50 V does away with the viewfinder. This alone makes it lighter and easier to handle during longer handheld shoots. Primarily optimized for handheld vertical shooting, it includes a vertical tripod socket, auto-rotating display, and intuitive grip design that is perfect for any vlogger.
Canon has revamped the button layout, adding a movie-specific mode dial and own buttons for one-touch live streaming and color modes. The 24.2MP APS-C sensor-in alignment with Canon’s Super 35mm cinema cameras-ensures total image quality.
Professional Video Features
The EOS R50 V supports Canon Log 3, offering a wider dynamic range for color grading in post-production. It allows uncropped 4K 30 p, cropped 4K 60p, Full HD 120p slow-motion recording, and introduces 14 color filters in addition to a Slow & Fast Motion movie mode and Cinema View, which recreates cinematic angles.
Plus, the creators are given false color and zebra patterns for exposure tuning while relying on Dual Pixel CMOS AF II for pin-sharp focus. Movie Digital IS stabilization turns hand-holding footage into the realm of professionalism.
Livestreaming and Enhanced Audio

The RF-S 14-30mm F4-6.3 IS STM PZ is the first RF lens with integrated power zoom from Canon. While compact and weighing a mere 181g, this lens also provides five-stops of image stabilization, in-camera remote zoom through the Camera Connect app.
