The fourth meeting of Andhra Pradesh State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) on Thursday, chaired by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in Amaravati, approved investments worth ₹1,21,659 crore from 10 companies in diverse industries including power and tourism.
The approved investments included Premier Energies in Naidupeta (₹1,742 crore), Dalmia Cement in Kadapa (₹2,883 crore), Lulu Global International in Visakhapatnam (₹1,500 crore), Satyavedu Reserve Infracity (Sri City – ₹25,000 crore), Indosol Solar (₹58,469 crore) , Balaji Action Buildwell (₹1,175 crore), AP NGEL Harith Amrit in Anantapur & Sri Satya Sai Districts (₹22,000 crore), Aastha Green Energy Ventures in Annamayya and Kadapa districts (₹8,240 crore) Mayfair Beach Resorts & Convention (₹400 crore) and Oberoi Vilas Resort (₹250 crore), according to a release.
In the first, second and third SIPB meetings, investment proposals worth ₹83,987 crore, ₹1,82,162 crore and ₹44,776 crore were approved respectively. The total investments approved so far in the four SIPB meetings after the new NDA government assumed power now stood at ₹4,32,584 crore with a potential to create 3,92,680 jobs.
