The downfall of the BRS party started with the defeat in the Assembly elections last year. However, the party and its chief K. Chandrashekar Rao tried to bounce back hard with the Lok Sabha elections.
KCR, who didn’t campaign aggressively during the assembly polls, went on a Bus Yatra this time. Every day, he covered three-four places on the bus. He did the yatra for 17 days.

Before the polling, he held a press meet saying that BRS would win at least 10 out of 17 MP seats in the state. He was very confident about the success but people had other plans in mind.
Many post-poll surveys predicted that the BRS would win one or two seats in the state. Today, as all the phases of polling have ended, the exit polls are being announced as well.

Popular poll strategy company Aara’s head Shaik Mastan predicted that BRS would win zero seats in these Lok Sabha elections.
He said that Congress would win 7-8 seats and the BJP would secure 8-9 seats in the state.

He stated that AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi would win the seat of Hyderabad, despite tough competition from the BJP candidate Madhavi Latha.
Aara Mastan pointed out that BRS, which won nine seats in the 2019 elections, will be confined to zero seats this time. If the prediction holds true, it would be the biggest shocker for KCR and his party leaders.
