The Department of Posts (DoP), under the Tamil Nadu Postal Circle, has entered into a partnership with Annachy, the e-commerce platform of Super Saravana Stores, a prominent retail chain based in Chennai, to enhance parcel delivery services across India.

This collaboration is specifically designed to improve last-mile connectivity, with a focus on rural and remote areas, where the postal network remains the most reliable delivery channel, according to a statement.

India Post’s vast network of 1,64,987 post offices nationwide continues to play a crucial role in bridging the digital divide and fostering inclusive e-commerce growth.

Currently, 10,872 parcels ordered through the Annachy app have been successfully delivered via the postal service in Tamil Nadu and other states.

India Post offers a wide range of customer-centric solutions designed specifically for e-commerce businesses. These include credit facilities, volume-based discounts, pick-up services, and API integration for end-to-end consignment tracking.
