Jadhav Sai Chaitanya bagged 68th rank at the all India level, elevating the district police’s reputation to the pinnacle, says Superintendent of Police

Adilabad: Jadhav Sai Chaitanya and his father Govind Rao, a head constable from the district, were felicitated by Superintendent of Police Akhil Mahajan for securing a rank in Civil Services Examination held by UPSC, here on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, Akhil said Chaitanya, having achieved the 68th rank at the all India level, elevated the district police’s reputation to the pinnacle. He congratulated the ranker and the constable for shining in the CSE. He felicitated the two with a shawl and a sapling for cracking the examination.
An alumnus of the Jawaharlal Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV)-Kagaznagar, Jadhav graduated in Mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Information Technology-Tiruchirapalli before appearing for the UPSC civils. He failed in four attempts to realise his dream of becoming an IAS officer. He missed his target again by a whisker as he was selected as an IFS officer in his fifth bid. He hails from Palsi (B) Thanda in Thalamadugu mandal.
