Warangal: Bringing the latest automobiles, including internationally popular models of different four-wheelers and two-wheelers, under one roof, the Namasthe Telangana-Telangana Today Auto Show began at the Hayagrivachari Ground in Hanamkonda here.
Member of Legislative Council T Ravinder Rao formally launched the expo, which will continue on Sunday as well.
Over 100 automobile companies, including Maruti Suzuki, Honda, Skoda, Kia Motors, Nexa, Yamaha, Citroen, TVS and others are displaying their latest automobiles at the auto show. Consumers desiring to purchase two-wheelers and four-wheelers can directly approach the stalls and make bookings. Banks have also set up their stalls at the show, enabling loan facilities at the same venue.
Speaking on the occasion, Ravinder Rao said people were relying on personal transportation in their busy lives. Earlier, people had to visit different showrooms to check new automobiles, but now the Namasthe Telangana-Telangana Today auto show was making things convenient for consumers by bringing different latest models under a single roof, he said.
Hanamkonda former ZP Chairman M Sudheer Kumar said that in the past, auto shows were limited to cities and metros but now they were being hosted in Hanamkonda for the convenience of people.
