Hyderabad: Two days after the Chaderghat police allegedly busted a human trafficking racket operated from a slum in Moosanagar of Chaderghat, the case took a new turn with the locals alleging no such activity was taking place in their locality.
On Wednesday, the local AIMIM leader Shaik Mohiuddin Abrar, along with the residents interacted with the media persons and claimed that the suspects who were arrested in the case were caught at some other location and brought to Moosanagar.
“The police brought the nine suspects and two victims in five police vehicles to a room in Moosanagar. They took some photographs and went away. Later they leaked the information that the racket was busted in Moosanagar, it is completely untrue,” said Abrar.
The local persons approached the higher officials of Telangana Police and requested them to conduct a probe.
