In addition to filing a complaint with the II-Town Police, the Dalit MLA also submitted a complaint to Speaker G Prasad Kumar. Following this, the Speaker instructed the District Collector to investigate the motive behind the priest recording images and videos of the MLA and his family and to submit a report.

Jogulamba Gadwal: Jogulamba Alampur temple senior priest Anand Sharma is in trouble for capturing images and videos of Alampur MLA Vijayudu and his family while they were watching a movie in a theatre.
Apart from lodging a complaint with the II-Town Police, the MLA, who is a Dalit, also lodged a complaint with Speaker G Prasad Kumar. Accordingly, the Speaker directed the District Collector to conduct an enquiry and submit a report on the motive behind the priest capturing the MLA and his family’s images and videos.
The incident occurred two months ago. MLA Vijayudu along with family was watching a movie in a theatre and incidentally the priest also happened to be in the theatre. Covering up his face with a handkerchief, the priest captured the MLA’s and his family members’ images.
Noticing the priest, the MLA immediately caught hold of him and checked his mobile. The MLA questioned the priest as to why he was capturing images and videos. Irked over the incident, the MLA lodged a complaint with II-Town police and the investigation is under progress, according to reports.
The MLA also lodged a complaint with the Speaker over the incident and accordingly, he sought a report from the District Collector. The district administration is expected to submit its report in a couple of days.
In the past, the MLA also expressed his unhappiness over the priest for failing to follow protocol during his visit to the temple. There were a few other complaints against the priest, the report said.
