Sangareddy: BRS leaders and cadre led by former Narayankhed MLA and BRS leader Mahareddy Bhupal Reddy staged a ‘rasta roko’ on the Hyderabad-Narayankhed road demanding the government to lay all the pending roads in the constituency.
The BRS leader said that the condition of many roads had deteriorated in Narayankhed as officials took up no road works during the last 15 months. He said the BRS government led by former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao had changed the face of Narayankhed constituency during its ten years of rule by taking up multiple development works. Reddy said that now, however, the local MLA Patlolla Sanjeeva Reddy had turned ignorant to public issues in the constituency.
The Narayankhed police took Bhupal Reddy and his followers into custody for blocking traffic. They were released later.
