Sangareddy: Officials continued to face the ire of people during the second day of gram sabhas held across the erstwhile Medak district on Thursday.
The public, whose names were missing in the beneficiary lists for ration cards and other schemes, questioned the officials.
During a meeting held in the third ward of Andole-Jogipet municipality, the citizens were seen questioning the officials on the discrepancies in the list released by the officials.
During another gram sabha in Chinnakodur mandal headquarters in Siddipet district, BRS leaders demanded that the officials release the accurate beneficiaries list.
When they failed to show anything, the BRS leaders alleged that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy was just trying to advertise his work rather than selecting the eligible beneficiaries.
The officials also failed to answer the questions raised by the villagers of Guuralagondi, and Chinna Gundavelli during the gram sabhas there.
Chaos prevailed in several villages as officials could not deal with the questions being raised by the villagers.
