Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy remarked that Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) is a party which has only a past but not a future.
Speaking to the media in Delhi, Revanth Reddy said that BRS has never been in such a pitiful situation since its inception.

“Where is BRS now? Not only people, but even KCR has to search BRS with a torchlight. It is now a history. It only has a past but no future,” stated Revanth.
Notably, BRS lost to Congress in the assembly elections last year and it failed to secure a single seat in the recently held Lok Sabha elections.

On the other hand, many BRS leaders have defected to Congress over the past few months.
Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka met Prime Minister Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah today in Delhi to discuss various issues concerning the state of Telangana.

They submitted a letter to Modi and Shah requesting the resolution of 12 issues, including the removal of the auction process of coal blocks and directly allocating them to Singareni, sanction of an Indian Institute of Management (IIM) to Telangana, the revival of the ITIR project, Railway Coach Factory for Kazipet and setting up Navodaya Schools in every district.
They said that they have also requested the government to help resolve the existing issues in the AP Reorganization Act.
Revanth Reddy said that he informed Amit Shah about his meeting with AP CM Chandrababu Naidu on July 6 to discuss the persisting issues between both Telugu states.
