Hyderabad: Senior Congress leader and adviser to the Telangana government Mohammed Ali Shabbir demanded the government to cancel the allotment of 11 acres of prime land in Kokapet to BRS party at throwaway prices in May 2023. He said the Congress government should take back the land parcel, auction it and use its proceeds for crop loan waiver and Rythu Bharosa schemes.
Ali claimed that 30of 39 BRS MLAs are ready to switch to Congress, predicting a significant weakening of BRS, which might lose its status as the main opposition party in the coming days. He said that, except for KCR’s family members, no one would remain in the BRS.
