Hyderabad: Unusual bonhomie was witnessed between Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan and Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, when both reached Hakimpet Air Force Station to welcome President Droupadi Murmu, who arrived in the city on Tuesday to attend a programme.
Both were seen engrossed in a lively conversation for about 15 minutes as they sat together prior to arrival of the President. After according a warm welcome to President and after she proceeded to Rashtrapati Nilayam, the Governor and CM continued their conversation while walking towards their convoy.
The bonhomie became a subject of heated debate in political circles as it comes after sustained and often publicly aired bitter disagreements for a couple of years.
